Chobits

One of the best romantic/comedy anime series that has made a big impact is Chobits. The story of a man named Hideki who finds the fallen and abandoned persocom named Chi. For those who do not know what a persocom is, it is a robotic companion made to look and act like a human. (All of them have little ears that differ them from the humans).

The first couple of episodes really bring out the comedy in this anime. As the story progresses, the drama and romance begin to unravel into a perfect synchronized story with events that will leave its viewers wanting more. This anime is targeted more for the female audience, but can also be enjoyed by the male audience in which it was intially intended for.
